This ramen… this ramen might be one of my proudest culinary moments. That’s how amazing it is. It took a good amount of time, it used 44 cloves of garlic, it required buying special ingredients online, and it was more than worth every second spent on it. This is the best ramen we’ve had outside of New York, and the fact that I made it makes me feel like a rockstar.
Forget the groupies. Just give me more noodles.
I followed the directions perfectly (I topped it with a six minute egg), and there are a lot of them, so I’ll simply send you to the glorious Lady and Pups post, a blog that might be my new obsession, and tell you to set aside an afternoon and MAKE THIS RAMEN.
Your life will be infinitely better because you did.
I promise.
I just wrote about my wonderful experience in Kansai, Japan in December, featuring pictures of devilishly delicious ramen. Enjoyed your blog post : )

That is a ton of garlic! Sounds about right, though. I miss a good ramen. I really enjoyed your post.
